Lauran offers tuition for mathematics up to GCSE.
Tuition
Lauran tutors during the evening and at weekends at her home in Beaufort.
In rare circumstances, she might be able to visit you at your home if it is on her way home from work.
Teaching History
Lauran graduated from Swansea University in 2016 with a 2:1 in mathematics. She then decided to do a PGCE teacher training course, also at Swansea. She impressed from early on and was offered a job at Bassaleg School in her first ever interview for a teaching job. In her second teaching placement at Bedwas High School, the staff there were so impressed that they tried to persuade her to take a job with them instead!
Lauran started at Bassaleg in September 2017 and has made a great start to her teaching career.

My son is finding that the tutorials are helping enormously with GCSEs
Lauran has tutored my son for GCSE since September. Lauran is a friendly and welcoming tutor who has built my son’s confidence considerably in readiness for his GSCE papers. I would highly recommend Lauran as a maths tutor.

Lauran is such a lovely lady to deal with. She made my daughter feel at ease every session and is always patient and punctual. I am happy with how my daughter has progressed in Maths. Thank you very much for all you’ve done!

Excellent tutor, always punctual and makes you feel at ease straight away. My daughter is now beginning to enjoy maths instead of struggling through would definitely recommend.
